Marketing & PR Intern (unpaid)
Help with general site marketing and public relations work. Help organize and host Rake-sponsored events. Will require online interaction to spread the word about our blogs and articles.
Edit Intern (unpaid)
Help find good events for the events calendar. Write up short descriptions for upcoming events, both for the Secrets of the Day and for So Little Time. Help with some of the day-to-day office functions. Will have opportunity to write events, art, film, theater, and music reviews as well. Some proofreading, fact checking, and general office work may be required.
Particularly interested in applicants with broad knowledge of contemporary books and authors at the moment (local, a plus).

"You Take" Video Intern (unpaid)
This person will be in charge of our regular man-on-the-street videos. Help shape the weekly questions, film a sampling of answers, and compile them into a short video. See here. This may also include audience reactions to events and such.
